SO the next Creative Mornings Louisville is coming up on September the 25th at the Frazier Museum. Having missed the one in August with guest speaker Lou Lenzi – the Design Director at GE Appliances – on working in a collaborative environment, the upcoming one is a definite must. Colleen Clines Co-Founder & CEO of Anchal (Ahn-chal), will be speaking on how design can become the tool for sustainable solutions to gender inequality, social injustice and environmental degradation. Her company, Anchal addresses the exploitation of women around the globe and using design thinking to create employment opportunities, products, and services that support economic empowerment. Sounds like this talk could be chalk full of some pretty interesting stuff!
Wonder if we’ll run into the Amber from The Pretty Gritty Blog this time round?
